Requirements:
To work as a certified Electrocardiogram Technician (EKG) in New Jersey, you must meet the following:

Completed an Electrocardiogram Technician training course that is approved by the Board of Education in New Jersey.

Complete a competency evaluation by a New Jersey state-approved school.

Be at least 18 years of age.

10 Electrocardiogram live tests.
