1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions:
By enrolling in or utilizing any services offered by K&G Career Academy, you affirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these Terms and Conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school administration for clarification.These terms govern your relationship with the school, its staff, and its facilities.
2. Enrollment and Registration
2.1. To fully enroll in K&G Career Academy, you must complete the registration process and submit required documents as outlined by the school's administration. Initial enrollment begins from your initial payment for your course.
2.2. All information provided during enrollment must be accurate and up-to-date. Any changes to this information must be promptly communicated to the school.
2.3 All students must be at least eighteen (18) years of age on or before the first day of class.
3. Tuition and Fees
3.1. Tuition fees, payment plans, and any other charges are outlined in the school's official fee schedule. Payment plan, methods of payment and due dates will be communicated during the enrollment process.
3.2. Failure to pay tuition or other fees by the specified due dates may result in late fees or enrollment suspension.
3.3 Certain classes may require the full tuition to be paid before the start of a clinical and/or the class itself. These due dates apply regardless of any payment plan selected. [Does not apply to out-of-state students and/or 100% online programs.]

Courses that require full tuition to be paid before the start date of the class: [Online Home Health Aide, In-Class Certified Home Health Aide, and Certified Nurse Aide]
3.4 Students who fail the NHA exam must repay to retake the exam. NHA exam retakes must be re-paid in full.
3.5 Tuition deadlines apply regardless of any payment plan selected. Payment plans and tuition deadlines apply starting from initial enrollment.
4. Attendance and Punctuality
4.1. Students are expected to attend classes regularly and punctually. Excessive absences may impact academic progress and eligibility for promotions.
4.2. Students or their parents/guardians must inform the school in advance about any absences or delays. Proof or official documentation of the extenuating/emergency circumstances may be requested by the school to verify a student’s absence(s)
4.3 Students are expected to make up any missed scheduled course days, and must communicate with their instructor(s) and school administration to ensure these make up dates/times are approved and tracked.
4.4 Students who miss mandatory class days such as Clinical days or Orientation date(s) must immediately notify K&G Career Academy.
5. Code of Conduct Summary
5.1 All students must adhere to the school's code of conduct. Violations will result in appropriate disciplinary actions up to and including dismissal or expulsion.
5.2. Respectful behavior towards fellow students, staff, and school property is expected to be present in a student's words and actions.
5.3. Any form of bullying or discrimination, harassment of any kind, or disruptive or obstructing or manipulating behavior will not be tolerated.
5.4 Violation of the law on school premises, including but not limited to, the use or consumption of alcoholic beverages and/or controlled dangerous substances on school premises is not permitted
5.5 No attempts to harm any person on school premises or at functions sponsored or supervised by the school will be tolerated
6. Academic Policies
6.1. Students are expected to complete assignments, projects, and assessments to the best of their abilities.
6.2. Plagiarism and cheating are strictly prohibited. Any violations will result in appropriate disciplinary actions.
6.3. To successfully pass the program, all exams must be completed with a score of 80% or higher. Additionally, students must pass the clinical portion in its entirety. Failure to achieve the required passing grade will result in the need to retake the exam or the entire program.
7. Health and Safety
7.1. Students and staff are required to follow the health and safety guidelines established by the school. These include protocols for illness, emergencies, and hygiene. For hygiene and safety purposes, nails must be kept at an appropriate length, not exceeding 0.25 or 1/4 inches past fingertips.
7.2. Students who attend clinicals or in-person classes must wear appropriate attire and solid, close-toed shoes.
7.3. Students or their parents/guardians must inform the school of any medical conditions or allergies that may affect the student's well-being while on school premises.
7.4. Our Phlebotomy program is carefully regulated to meet all industry safety standards and procedures. We prioritize proper training, strict adherence to guidelines, and best practices to ensure a safe and professional learning environment for all students.
8 Work Readiness Support
8.1. Students are offered additional opportunities to schedule meetings with our Student Services team for help with preparation for their career fields, these meetings must be scheduled in advance.
8.2. Student Services is intended to assist students with preparation for potential opportunities in their new field and cannot guarantee employment or a specific income.
8.3. K&G Career Academy, and its Student Services department are not considered a job agency and cannot submit applications, schedule interviews, or negotiate income on a student’s behalf.
9. K&G Book Store
9.1 The K&G Book Store is for students to acquire essential study materials, many of which are mandatory for their courses. The textbooks, workbooks, and uniforms sold will be used for your In Person training and Online studies, and must be obtained as required BEFORE the start of the course.
9.2 Orders in which items shipped from the K&G Book Store cannot be cancelled once shipping is in progress. Orders which are changed from Shipping to Pick Up at a student’s request will incur a 7$ processing fee. Orders changed from Pick Up to Shipping will also incur a 7$ processing fee.
9.3 All sales made using the K&G Book Store are final and no refunds or returns will be processed.
10. Personal Belongings
10.1. The school is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings of students.
10.2. Students are advised not to bring valuable items to school.
11. Communication
11.1. The school will communicate important information via official channels such as emails, letters, social media, text messages, voicemails, phone calls, and the school's website.
11.2. Students and their parents/guardians are encouraged to maintain open communication with the admissions team, teachers, and school administrators.
11.3 Classes and general communications will be primarily in English. Students who cannot understand or communicate in English will not be able to communicate or proceed with courses effectively and may require administrator intervention
12. Privacy
12.1. The school respects the privacy of students and their families. Personal information collected during enrollment will be used only for school-related purposes. Our applications are HIPPAA compliant.
12.2. The school may use photographs or videos of students for promotional materials unless explicitly informed otherwise by students, parents, or guardians.
12.3 Please be advised that students requesting copies of personal records that are authorized to be released must do so in writing. Students must bring 2 non-expired forms of government-issued ID and must schedule an in-person meeting with an administrator. Student personal information will only be released to the student or their designated representative.
13. Amendments
13.1. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change. The school will notify students or their parent/guardian of any amendments in advance of any changes that may affect the student’s enrollment.
13.2. Continued enrollment after the amendments are made will be considered as acceptance of the updated terms.
14. Termination of Enrollment
14.1. The school reserves the right to terminate a student's enrollment due to academic, behavioral, or other reasons as outlined in the school's policies.
14.2. Termination may also occur if tuition fees or other outstanding charges remain unpaid.
Enrollment Agreement
I hereby certify that the facts set forth in my enrollment, registration application and communications with the school administration are true, accurate, and complete to the best of my knowledge. I understand that any misrepresentation, falsification, or omission of information may disqualify me from further consideration for enrollment or course progression.
If discovered at a later date, it may be considered grounds for immediate discharge.
I authorize the investigation of all statements and information contained in my application and communications. Prior to the start of the program, I understand I am required to have all necessary documents, including my physical exam results and an MMR.
Without these documents, I will not be eligible to begin the class. If a scheduled course day is missed, it must be made up. I also acknowledge that I have the option to register for the NHA certification for an additional fee of $250.00 (information may be requested at any time by consulting with the admissions office). I acknowledge that I must have a minimum of a high school diploma or GED to take the NHA Exam.
A full refund of the course amount (not including the administration fee which is different per each program) will be given if a student withdraws no more than THREE DAYS after the date of enrollment. I understand that I will need to submit a Refund Request form for Director review should I wish to receive money back. The administration fee is a deposit that is non-refundable and non-transferable regardless of enrollment or registration application status.
I understand that transfers may incur an additional $250 fee, and transfers issued by K&G Career academy as a result of missing documentation or payments will incur a $250 Transfer fee.
In the event after completing the course; you have a remaining balance you authorize K&G Career Academy to process your debit/ credit card with the remaining unpaid balance tuition after completing the course.
