At K&G Career Academy, we are committed to readying you for the next phase of your professional journey. Our specialized Phlebotomy Technician training program focuses on imparting the essential skills needed for the safe drawing, labeling, and maintenance of blood specimens.
The Phlebotomy Technician program spans three weeks, encompassing a total of 80 hours of training, by the State of New Jersey's requirements. Our training approach is entirely in-classroom, providing students with hands-on experience in blood drawing under the guidance of an approved instructor certified by the New Jersey Board of Education
Requirements:
To work as a Certified Phlebotomy Technician in New Jersey, you must meet the following:

Complete a Phlebotomy Technician training course that is approved by the Department of Education and Work Force Development in New Jersey.

Complete a competency evaluation that requires 40 live sticks.

Be at least 18 years of age.

The National Certification Exam is available.
