Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a crucial role in providing essential care and support to individuals in their homes. Your primary responsibility will be to assist clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized in-home assistance to clients based on their individual care plans

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting

• Support clients with mobility issues and help them move around their homes safely

• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals

• Monitor and record vital signs and health status

• Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients

• Follow HIPAA guidelines to ensure client confidentiality

• Handle medical records accurately and securely

Skills

• Experience in patient care and caregiving

• Ability to lift and move clients safely

• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures

• Familiarity with dementia care and hospice care practices

• Proficiency in medication administration and catheter care

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards clients

• Ability to cook nutritious meals for clients

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
